Warm-up: Daily Language Practice 29
Lesson: We will discuss our next spelling unit (prefixes). After our spelling lesson we will begin reviewing for the TCAP. Students will complete lesson 14 (plot).

Lesson: Students will continue reviewing for the TCAP by completing and discussing lessons 15 & 16 (theme & point of view) in our TCAP Coach workbooks.

Lesson: Class will work on spelling packet 24. After working on the spelling packet, we will continue to work on the preposition song. Also, students will be able to identify colons.

Lesson: Students will be able to identify the proper use of colons (i.e. time, business letters, lists). Students will complete exercises 28, 29, & 31. Pages 576 - 577

Wednesday
Warmup: Daily Language Review 27
Lesson: Students will be able to identify the six parts of a business letter, use a colon after the greeting in a business letter, and write a business letter. The class will watch a multimedia presentation on creating a business letter. After the presentation, students will write a business letter using a scenario that the teacher will provide.
