Dear Parents:
I wanted to welcome you and your child to my classroom. I look forward to getting to know and working with each of your children over the next school year. You and I will be meeting several times throughout the year, but in the meantime, I would like to tell you a little more about myself.
I graduated with my undergraduate degree from the University of South Alabama in special education. Upon completion of my degree I moved to Memphis and have been teaching at Germantown Middle School for seven years. Currently, I am pursuing my master’s degree in Educational Leadership.
My goal for this year is to provide your child with an education that will give him/her the necessary skills and tools to succeed not only in school, but also outside the classroom. It is my hope that your child will feel challenged each and every day to reach his/her highest potential and yet feel comfortable enough in my classroom to ask questions and to seek help.
